God establishes specific spiritual rules and boundaries that must be followed instead of being mixed together or personally invented. Just as track athletes run on the oval and football players operate on a field with set rules and goalposts, Christians are required to stay within the clear instructions of Scripture for prayer, worship, and conduct. Many self-identified believers drift by creating their own prayers instead of aligning with biblical directives, which leaves them vulnerable to deception. God provides explicit guidance in His Word and grants understanding to those who seek it according to His design. Operating within these established spiritual parameters allows His promises to function as intended and counters the consistent deceptive tactics of Satan.
